RMS Company offers a comprehensive benefits package to attract and retain the best employees in this competitive market. Most benefits go into effect the first day of the next month following the date of employment.

 

Benefits for Hourly Employees

 

Medical Insurance   is provided through Preferred One which uses the Open Access Network 200 Provider Directory. In network, an employee pays no deductibles and enjoys 100% coverage on Preventive Health Care Services, Office Visits, Hospital Services, Urgent and Emergency Care Services. A $20 co-pay is limited to office visits other than preventive health care services. Single insurance is $60 dollars per month, taken out before it is taxed, and family insurance is $120 dollar per month, taken out before it is taxed.

 

Dental Insurance   This plan allows employees to visit any dentist they wish. This benefit is provided at no cost to employees.

 

Vacation   An employee is eligible to accrue vacation upon hire, and may use their accrued vacation after they have successfully completed their 90-day, Newly-Hired Evaluation Period. RMS vacation time is accrued and calculated on an anniversary basis.

Accrual Rate: One year through five years 2 Weeks
  Six years thru fourteen years 3 Weeks
  Fifteen years & beyond 4 Weeks

 

Holidays   RMS observes nine holiday days throughout the year, including two holiday days each for Christmas and Thanksgiving.

 

Profit Sharing Retirement Plan   RMS shares with its employees the profits they help make possible. The amount of the annual contribution is based on the prior year’s profits. The profit contribution has been generous in previous years given the steady growth of RMS.

 

Life Insurance Plan   In the event of death while employed at RMS, the beneficiary receives the amount of the employee’s annual salary. This benefit is provided at no cost to employees.

 

Short Term Disability   RMS offers short-term disability coverage to help maintain income should an employee becomes disabled. In the event an employee is unable to work due to injury or illness, it pays 50% of the weekly salary. This benefit is provided at no cost to employees.

 

Section 125 Plan or Cafeteria Plan   This plan represents a great cost savings. It allows employees to pay for certain expenses using before tax dollars instead of after tax dollars. This is accomplished through payroll deductions taken out weekly to pay for daycare expenses and/or non-reimbursed medical expenses.

 

Tuition Reimbursement   RMS encourages employees to further their education and keep current with the latest technology. Classes on subjects directly related to an individual’s work responsibilities will be reimbursed by RMS when successfully completed.

 

Shift Differentials   To meet the demands of our customers we need to work around the clock. In order to attract quality candidates RMS offers employees extra wages to work the second and third shifts. Employees can expect a 15% shift differential when working second shift and a 20% shift differential when working third shift.
